
DUBLIN ABBEY is a folk-rock band with an innovative flare for lyrical and musical tapestry. Singer/songwriters Emma Elder and Patrick O'Donin weave a tapestry of mesmerizing originals and crowd pleasing covers sure to please audiences. Supported by bassist Elias Jones and percussionist Kristin Driscoll, the band captures an artsy folk sound that transcends into a theatrical and entertaining folk-pop-rock performance. The band has played venues and festivals across the US with airplay on radio stations and podcasts from Seattle to Ireland and many places in-between. Members have played with bands nationally including shows that opened for notable acts like the Psychedelic Furs.
DUBLIN ABBEY performs a versatile mix of originals, covers and time honored traditional pieces, but at the heart of it, the members are story-tellers. They reach deep into the archives or history and the passions of emotion to weave lyrical narratives that both entrance and enchant... All amid an engaging theatrical show.
DUBLIN ABBEY has two impressive sides including a prolific collection of dozens upon dozens of original songs that have already produced one album (Tri-Colour) and are sure to produce many more. In addition, live performance offer an array of cover tunes from the likes of the Beatles, Elvis, Simon and Garfunkel, Neil Diamond, the Cranberries and many more.
